The Staff Selection Commission is set to organize a competitive examination to recruit Constables (General Duty) for various forces, including the Border Security Force, Central Industrial Security Force, Central Reserve Police Force, Indo Tibetan Border Police, Sashastra Seema Bal, Secretariat Security Force, and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles.

Educational Qualification :
* The candidates must have passed Matriculation or 10th Class Examination
from a recognized Board/ University.
* Candidates who have not acquired the essential educational qualification as
on the stipulated date will not be eligible and need not apply.

Age Limit :
18 - 23 as on 01-01-2024
Candidates should have been born on 02-01-2001 and 01-01-2006.

Mode of Selection :
The selection process includes a Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Medical Examination (DME/RME), and Document Verification.
Application Fee :
Rs 100/-(Rs One hundred only).
Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.
